I worked more with Camus' first chapter of A Happy Death; specifically I worked with the first paragraph of the chapter. I tried to make the text appear more poetic + "visual poetic cliff notes." I pulled out words in each sentence, keeping in mind how detectives pull clues from a scene. Think about any of forensics tv shows that are or have been on the air. Each detective would get all the information that they could from the scene, then think about all of the important details and place them together. I tried to do this by pulling out the words, making them larger and keeping the rest of the text smaller; demonstrating that it is both important and secondary details. I worked with a couple different layouts revolving around hierarchy, poetic voice and photographic shots.
the layouts:
composition 1.
focus on the pulled out/most descriptive words.
composition 2.
initial layout based off other experiments but pulling out keywords.
composition 3.
keeping the focus on the first and last sentence of the two paragraphs.
composition 4.
changing dominance based on orientation + size of text of sentences/letters.

overlaying testing.
composition 1, overlay + pieced together.
