Assistant Professor Michael E. Kidwell told me that I need to bring further away from my need for constant consistency. He stated that I would "get sick fast" of all the spreads being the same height. He suggested playing with the height of some elements within the spreads. He also suggested that I accept now that the text columns will not all line up, so I should change that now.
