AFFIX THE VESTIGE, meaning to attach a trace of something that is disappearing/no longer exists. Our aim was to focus on commemorating how the Darby Steel Corporation was the main builder of landing craft tanks during WWII. It would allow visitors to experience the landing craft for themselves as it is beached onto land, overlooking the KAW Point, which is where the Darby Steel Corporation used to place the LCT in the river to send downstream.
