I hard a hard time trying to find the best typefaces to use in this poster. I had started out with the composition being a far away layout where the whole combined instruments was merely an image in the layout. I realized that the composition became more interesting when I zoomed in closer to the combined image. So, more than half of my attempts were attempting to find a typeface that worked. I thought that Geared Slab was a good typeface, but I received mixed reviews from some of the senior students that I talked to; something didn't quite bring all of the pieces together. So, I went exploring more typefaces...I'm still not very pleased with the typeface selection, but it is getting closer. I need one for "Anat Cohen Quartet" and another for the time and date.
And I definitely need to figure out what I didn't make the correct black.
