How-To: Pull Out Aspect

There were a few aspects that are present in most if not all my steps.  One aspect that was present throughout all six steps that I was also most proud of was the use of a white iconic symbol.  Other than keeping the overall design simplistic, I wanted to keep a similar pattern of colors to help guide the viewer to the to the important pieces of information.  I used the white iconic symbol to draw the emphasis to the main part of each scene.  My white iconic symbols were: a fence, shovel, body, and X.  The use of the iconic symbol as white against the other colors used in the piece all the emphasis to go directly to the symbol then fan out in each step to the other bright colors.
