midterm. self-assessment. hello.

Based on course objectives, I would state that I have adequately met the goals set forth in this class. I transformed a newspaper into online environment with various levels of interaction and the ability to tailor information via articles, images and videos as the user saw fit. My translation was in keeping the news at a most likely unrealistic state, not bombarding the user with the amount of articles, videos and images that are in the world on a regular basis. My typography was nothing beautifully crafted/chosen but it did adequately meet project + visibility objectives on web. I did not use hierarchy as much to my advantage as I could have, but it was not horrendous either. I did not incorporate visual trends for the web in my newspaper redesign, but am aiming to incorporate that more into my collection website. I'm currently in the process of researching and developing an interactive website where I hope to provide evidence of my ability to typeset and design.
