"Silence: a Fable" | Solitude
My main change with this was the brightening up of the clock face to make the image appear less flat. Even though the color worked well before, it appeared very flat because it was all the same shade. By adding the brightness change I added more depth to the image composition.
"Silence: a Fable" | Insecurity
The main change in this piece was the dispersing of the sky image as well as layering the images to be more cohesive in the background. The next feedback that I was given was to add a bit more cloud to the top section of the composition.
"Silence: a Fable" | Control
Feedback: I was told to think more about the straight lines that are used in the light switch and see if I can work that to my theme. I was also told to think more about a overall color scheme.
"The Tell-Tale Heart" | Time/Change
Feedback: Overall I heard good things about this composition. The main things that I was told to think about changing was editing the hands of the clock so they didn't create such a straight line and edit the direction the eye is facing.
"The Tell-Tale Heart" | Identity
Feedback: Of all the people I showed this to, no one understood identity. To be more correct, no one understood this one and I struggled to explain my idea, so I took the idea of water and one eye and expanded that for my next attempt at illustrating identity and "The Tell-Tale Heart."
"The Tell-Tale Heart" | Guilt
Feedback: I was told that this composition was too literal and far from what the rest of my compositions included. I didn't fully think about that when I was designing them, but when it was pointed out I noticed how literal I was being. This was originally one of my favorites, because I find it interesting and a bit scary, but I wanted my pieces to match better.
