I updated my points of view, when I was told and realized that what I was trying to cover in both original points of view was too broad. Below are my two new paragraphs.
POV 1 – Family Emotions
There is a wide variation of emotions that can be associated with the lawn. These emotions are based on locations, uses of, or the people that use them. Lawns can have positive and negative emotions in relation to family, activities and occasions such as birthday parties, weddings, funerals, and ceremonies. Often memories that are remembered are associated as good and thus positive reactions towards the word of lawn such as happiness, cheer, and love. Many of these memories and emotions are so strong that they have the ability to shape the word as a whole and how one interprets it. The lawn has become a family tradition and widely embraced part of family life.
words: interaction, family, love, cheer, memory
POV2 – Alternative Lawn Use
The lawn is not as simple as it is stated in Merriam Webster’s dictionary as “ground is covered with grass and is kept mowed.” There is an alternative culture of American society that has re-invented this space to be a tool. Now the classroom is not the only learning ground; the “alternative” lawn has become a new way to educate. This lawn culture has brought the ability to teach people how to sustain the world we live in. Within communities and neighborhoods, there have been community gardens that have been created to help people who may not have enough lawn on their property to have a garden.
words: alternative, community, educate, inventing, sustain
