Below are my final representations of the final four words. My final words were love and memory for point of view 1: family emotions. My final words were alternative and inventing for point of view 2: alternative lawn use.
This is my final version of love. The only feedback I really had last critique was to try to bring the "le" and "ov" closer together because they looked like two separate pieces. I feel that this final version has brought love together as well as keep with my original thoughts of love being difficult to exactly pinpoint, so not all of the word love is in the design.
Taking the feedback that I received in class, I put more emphasis on the use of memory in various weights throughout the page. I also kept with the use of writing memory on multiple lines similar to an eye exam. I tried to make the space in between the lines more of a cohesive increase. I also split the last line of text to be half in the design half off, promoting the idea that memories continue.
Based off of feedback, I calmed down my over emphasis to the word alternative. I have alternative on one line, lying straight, no longer has a reflection. I also changed the tracking so that the letters were more closely linked together. I kept everything else the same.
My main thoughts with the inventing final was to keep emphasis on the correct spelling of inventing; so I kept it bold. I changed the weights in the rest of the document to be regular, so that it seemed as if the design was shouting less. The main comment that I received was that with all of the text being the same weight, it gave the design more of a "shouting" feel.
